Our students will be involved in “Hour of Code” during this week. But, what is the “Hour of Code”? The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics. If you want to try, Check out the tutorials.

 

SEK International School Qatar was delighted to welcome the Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica to the State of Qatar.

During his visit, H.E. Luis Alberto Guillén Downing, led an Assembly for Grades 5, 6, 7 and 8 in which he described the culture, natural wonders, wild life and opportunities for adventure in this fascinating country.

The students were keen to find out more and the Ambassador was very generous with his time, answering many of their questions.
